She graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law with a full scholarship and completed her LL.M. degree in Information Technology Law. She is registered as an attorney at law before the Istanbul Bar Association and a trademark attorney recognized by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.

Ms. Özlem has been working with foreign and domestic clients in various industries including fashion, automotive, cosmetics, alcoholic beverages, food and media on every aspect of trademark, design, domain names, copyright and unfair competition issues from administrative to judicial phases.

Her practice focuses on prosecution and litigation matters including the administrative proceedings before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in addition to cancellation, invalidation, infringement and unfair competition actions before the Civil IP courts of First Instance and Courts of Appeal.
